The Commonwealth of Renova claims the entirety of Valeris Magna, yet their control is focused almost exclusively on the Renasci capital. Outside the neon glow of the central district, the landscape is a patchwork of atmospheric collectors and resource processing plants. The planetary core, rich with 'Ether-7', provides the limitless energy that powers the city's perpetual daylight, while the surrounding sectors descend into dust and decay.
THE BIRTH OF A NATION.
The Commonwealth of Renova was not born from conquest. It was born from survival. In the aftermath of the Global War, when governments fractured and borders collapsed, a coalition of industrial magnates, technologists, and financial sovereigns united their remaining resources to construct a new state far west of St. Juniper. Their purpose was singular: Restore humanity. Rebuild civilization. Control the future. Thus, Renova was established — a nation governed not by ideology, but by capability.
At the center of Renova stands its greatest monument: Renasci. A fortified megacity designed as both sanctuary and laboratory for the next age of human advancement. Its name derives from the Latin renasci — to be born again. Renasci was conceived as a perfect system: Total infrastructural automation Controlled economic ecosystem Closed-loop technological development Elite population residency To sustain this system, the founders introduced a sovereign digital currency: ZENITH ($ZEN) Originally restricted to internal real estate transactions, Zenith rapidly became the dominant economic standard of the Commonwealth. When public access was announced, global demand detonated. Within seventy-two hours of Renasci’s opening: All housing was sold. Millions were left outside the walls.
The Outer Ring
The displaced did not leave. They built. Improvised settlements, scrap-cities, and dense refugee zones formed around the perimeter of Renasci. These territories — now collectively designated The Outer Ring — house millions still waiting for entry clearance. Official briefings described the G-Series as: Emotionally suppressed, Highly hostile, Identifiable by red hooded garments. Then Operatives captured: G161. The subject displayed: Emotional responsiveness, Cooperative behavior, Blue identification hood. This discovery triggered the first internal disputes within recovery teams. Soon after, additional anomalous subjects appeared. Some Operatives stopped returning them.
THE FRACTURE
Defections followed. Certain Field Operatives began assisting escaped subjects rather than capturing them. From these alliances emerged an organized resistance network: THE BLOC Their objective: Expose Miter Corporation. Protect the G-Series. Destroy the enhancement program. From this moment forward, the battlefield split into three forces: Loyalist Operatives Defected Operatives Escaped G-Series factions Civil war in the shadows had begun.
THE BLACK ECONOMY:
As the conflict intensified, underground supply chains surfaced throughout Renasci and the Outer Ring. Illegal arms dealers, data brokers, and covert logistics cells began supporting rogue Operatives. During this period, a second unauthorized currency entered circulation: $GBOY COIN. Untraceable. Decentralized. Accepted everywhere.
Rumors persist that its distribution is coordinated by an unidentified off-world intelligence broker. No verification exists. None has been disproven.
THE HARMONY PROGRAM
Behind the shining skyline of Renasci, darker rumors surfaced. The government’s celebrated “free healthcare” program appeared to rely heavily on a pharmaceutical called Harmony. Among the poor and homeless populations, Harmony usage became nearly universal. Users existed in a docile, euphoric haze, calm, compliant, and detached, even in extreme poverty. Whistleblowers claimed the drug was prescribed indiscriminately. Even to those who didn’t need it. Even to children.
CURRENT STATUS
Miter Corporation continues recovery operations. The BLOC continues insurgency activity. G-Series sightings continue rising. The Outer Ring population continues expanding. Zenith continues climbing. Harmony distribution continues increasing. And somewhere inside Renova... the truth continues to disappear.
PATHOGENZ
“Pathogenz” a slang term given to the G experiments after numerous public sightings. Now, the conflict defining the world of Pathogenz is no longer hidden. Miter Corporation claims it is securing humanity’s future. The BLOC believes it is saving humanity from it. And across Renova, Operatives, experiments, vigilantes, corporations, and citizens are all forced to choose a side.
The game takes place at this moment, the players use Field Operatives and G experiments to form squads for battle. Utilizing Resources and summon cards to outplay their opponents.
